Sketchnotes: A Different type of Note-taking

I have been researching the idea of  writing and drawing ideas in order to remember them and have been very interested in the idea of visual note-taking.  Sketchnote Army is a blog that showcases this type of note-taking.  Do you have students in your class who could benefit from this?  There are people who use Paper 53 App to make digital sketchnotes.  I love this idea of using art and visuals to remember organize ideas.  Some more ideas can be found on Sketchnotes 101.

Here is a really neat video from Claudine Delfin on visual note-taking.
